Hi guys hope someone can help. I am looking to put a new set of wheels on my 'aging' commuter MTB, the current front and rear rotors are 160mm. My current rotor is completely spherical (if that makes sense) therefore do I need to buy one that is exactly the same shape or can I buy one that is not completely spherical (if that makes sense) but just 160mm?
Apologies for the none techy explanation I am used to road calipers. Many thanks for any help/advice.

You mean circular, not spherical I assume...?

You can use any 160mm rotor, doesn't matter if it's not entirely circular, few are.

Thanks - and yes I did mean circular, how embarrassed am I (it's been a tough day!). Some weird set of brakes that would have been.

Thanks for the advice, I was hoping that was the case but just wanted to be certain.
