Is it possible to buy "new" 10 speed SRAM groupsets (Rival and above) anymore or are they discontinued? No one seems to stock them but the SRAM website still lists them so sort of implies you can buy them.

I'm not really fussed about going to 11 speed and am happy with my Rival 10 speed groupset and would like another for another bike.

Anyone know any secret stockists?? Maybe China/far east even?

Have just bought 10 speed rival shifters from Chain Reaction if that helps.

  • Do they have to brand new? I bought a pair of Force shifters from the bay, they're as new and much cheaper.

I think you might be better picking up bits here and there including e-bay (as above) - perhaps mixing with new Apex if need be.

Also fudges seem to have good prices on Rival 22.

I run Rival 20 speed on one bike and Force 22 on the other and the front shifting is so much better on the Force because of the yaw front mech which Rival 22 now has I believe.

Rival 20 shifters with 10 year old Ultegra front mech - absolutely no problem with front shifting.
