nukeproof mega tr or Rose Granite chief 1

I've narrowed it down to these two

I can get the nukeproof for 1550 as I have some gift vouchers so the prices are not too different.

Really fancy the Mega as it looks the business to me. But the rose was the bike I had wanted for long time but then the Nukeproof came up.

Which would you go for?

They are both great to ride. The Nukeproof is actually less good as an xc bike and only really comes to life when you ride it hard. Fire the Mega off a big step down or over a nice big jump and its brilliant. It's a short travel bike that rides more like a bigger enduro bike.
Rose have better UK backup than Nukeproof surprisingly. I would say Rose's build quality is a little nicer as well.
You wont be disapointed with either.

The Rose was no 1 choice and then I saw the Nuke Which doesn't have quite as good spec but seems a solid base.

So do you think its not suitable for 20 mile blasts round trail centres

I have done 80km rides on my Mega TR and dozens of 50km+ rides. It really makes sense if you like to boost every jump, pump every berm and ride at/past the limits of your ability.
As an allrounder I would say the Rose is better but if you want to ride like your arse is on fire the Nukeproof is better.

There lies the issue, I do like to twat around but sometimes like to just pedal. Mmmm First word problems eh?

Tough choice!
Good luck with the decision - don't think you'll be disappointed with either.
Haven't ridden either but see plenty of NP's out and about.
There are also a couple of Granite Chiefs knocking around by us too.

On a personal note I do like the look of the Mega.
