hello people.

new to the board, just looking for some help deciding between 2 bikes.

so i have decided to buy a mountain bike and have narrowed it down to 2 bikes. i have a budget of around 600.

i like the GT avalanche 2015 http://www.evanscycles.com/products/gt/ ... e-ec070827

and i like the Merida Big Seven 100 http://www.phillipscycles.co.uk/mtb-rec ... e.tpl.html


not really too sure on which one to get.

any info or help would be great.

    nice looking bike. im restricted to where im buying it as im getting it from the cycle to work scheme so cant get it from halfords.

    Which scheme? Ironically the only 'ride to work' scheme I know of called cycle to work IS Halfords own scheme!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    haha yeah thats what i thought... but they are no longer part of www.cyclescheme.co.uk

    so i cant use halfords which is how i have narrowed it down to the 2 bikes i have linked.
