Is this the correct choice

So im buying a new MTB its mainly going to be used on a bit of road and mostly dirt/gravel. My Budget it between 300-400 GBP is this bike the right choice.

If that's your budget then Alex it's ok... At that price it's not too bad, 29er so you'll fly along0

Have a look at this, better spec generally better spec, including most importantly the fork (the XCR is the model up from them XCM on the Carrera). Plus hydraulic disc brakes.

Yea I bought the Sulcata anyway since the price was nice and since this is my first decent bike and the people I will be riding with have very similar setups the extra £70 to spend on little upgrade I think it will be worth it in the end. Thanks for all the advice though.0
