chainstay protection

What frame protection film or tape do people recommend using to prevent chainstay damage? It has to be clear and preferably, be able to, run the full length of the chainstay.

I use some clear tape that I got from bike tart. It's been on there for nearly three years now with no sign of coming off or getting tatty. Just use a hair dryer when applying it.

Thanks to everyone for their input and suggestions; I've found a couple of options online.

I have clear helicopter tape on mine wrapped the entire way round the chainstay. I heated it with hair dryer as i was putting it on to prevent wrinkles/bubbles. You wouldn't know it was there and is very tough.
