Fancy a route that takes you to some of the most stunning scenery in the world? Free in mid-September? Not sure you're capable of a full-n sportive? Don't like spending lots of money on entry and THEN having to raise more for charity?
Have a go at the Jennings Rivers Ride. All profits go to charity. There's a choice of 4 routes, including one suitable for children And surprisingly for the Lake District, one of the routes only has one proper climb. The family ride is almost all off-road and flat.
I have ABSOLUTELY no link with the organisers or Cumbria Community Foundation, other than having entered a few times and had a great time.
