I took out my Garmin virb elite for the first time today but when I got back none of the files would open mp4 or jpegs. I'm thinking the Micro SD Card I have is not up to the job. It claims to be a class 10 but I now very much doubt it.
Which and were is the best card (32gb) for the virb ?,,,cheap been the operative word..
I did find these but I wasn't quick enough

yeah thanks never thought of Google ...what my like ! ..the reason I asked , theres certain cameras that prefer certain types of micro sd cards and theres quite a few different types of micro sd card on the market
I watched a video were sone guy runs a one of these newer quicker class 10's against a basic class 10. The basic class 10 out performed it. So I was after peoples feedback with their own experiences with what they use and were they got it from to avoid fakes i.e make/size/class & speeds, basically what works for them.
Oh and tomisitt ? I think you've missed a 'H' out your name0 -

Me too. If you are going on a longish ride you'd be well served carrying a spare battery as the juice gets used up pretty quickly.

I'm running Samsung Class 10 64Gb cards in my Virbs, can't remember where I bought them, probably Amazon though. One thing I learned after the first few days use was to format the cards after transferring the footage from camera to PC then charge on mains. Since starting to format the card every day I've never had any flawed recordings.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

+1 on the Samsung 64GB, not had any issues at all with it.0

I have Sandisk Ultra 64GB in mine. Works great.0

Sandisk Ultra 64GB in mine too. the 16 gig card I got with it just did the same and then stopped working0

Scandisk for a brand, some things to remember, you are better with 2 cards than one (just know your timing) then a corruption doesn't lose everything. Also try and get a higher class number.
I've never had issues with 64gb cards but I still try and use 32gb in case0 -
Thanks for the feedback and the format advise, much appreciated0
