Seems likely that it'll be coming along part of my commute. There go my KOMs!

Edinburgh to Blyth and they didn't take the opportunity to go to Morpeth.

Still some SCR interest since they will be in the Ribble Valley.

I consistently find the Scottish stages disappointing.

At least the capital will get a look in this year, but not at a weekend, so crowds won't be great. But why doesn't the race ever head north? The borders are pleasant enough, don't get me wrong, but why have we never had a Lowther Hill summit finish, or a stage from Stirling north through the Trossachs, or from Aberdeen through the Cairngorms, or from Glasgow through Glencoe?

Instead it just seems to be Dumfries on a wet Wednesday every year.
