Hi All
After few thousand miles on Teman fixie gear bike the time has come to exchange bottom bracket. However I'm not sure which type and size i have. Standard-english-italian? Please advise.

68mm english square taper, likely to be a narrow axle one (you need to measure the width of the axle end to end to get the same, otherwise your chain line will not be straight - obviously need to remove the cranks to do this)

    e.g. http://www.fixedgearfrenzy.com/sr-sunto ... -bike.html
    available in 110mm, 113mm, 118mm, 122mm widths.
They do offer another in 107mm and you can get 103mm too.

[for info italian bottom brackets have both threads the same direction, whereas the english has one thread reversed]

Simplest thing to do is to remove the existing one and give it a good looking at. The details are usually printed on a cassette type BB.

Left cup will unscrew in the normal direction for British and Italian threading. The right, drive side cup unscrews clockwise on British threaded BBs, which is almost certainly what you have. It's going to be a short axle, possibly 103mm.
