Campag Record 11 speed shifter problem

The left hand lever has started jamming when shifting to the big ring. It feels locked solid until I wiggle the thumb lever then its OK. What is causing this? Thanks.

    Check for the slot in the bottom of the hood fouling the mechanism - or something stuck in there.

    Yeah, I had this - the rubber fouling the thumb lever meaning it didn't go fully back, and that jams the main shift lever up. generally after I'd re-taped the bars and hadn't re-seated the hood properly :roll:
