Canyon Spectral 8.9
Love a rider who builds his own bikes. Why have it any other way. Not like it's difficult. Who popped in the bearings for you?
Love the elongated fork crown, graceful. Love the fast forward position and the wheels.
"Bon courage" for when you cut the steerer.
Now it's time for sleep.
Thanks! I picked up the frame from Sigma Sport, so got them to pop the bottom bracket bearings in at the same time, also had them provisionally cut the steerer to leave 20mm on top of the stem *just in case*
I really enjoy the build process myself, feels a lot more rewarding to build something I ride as well, and I know the bike that way as well. Also means I get to exact my own spec, rather than getting parts I don't really want. And like you say, its not difficult either.
Not sure whether I'll cut the steerer further just yet, chances are I'll leave as is. Going to order the S5 two position seat post as well (unless anyone has one for sale!?) so I can get the saddle mounted a bit more centrally, as I am literally slammed fully forward on the saddle rails at the moment.
