Only just finished putting it together yesterday evening, so no time for a ride just yet. Hoping to get out this evening all things being well!

Was never really a Cervelo fan but I like these a lot. Looks like a nice build.
  • Just love the look of this. What a beauty.

Thanks all, had a quick spin on it last night, and it feels incredible. I used to think my old Giant didn't flex much, but this shows otherwise. So responsive, literally every single watt propels the bike forward, its awesome. Can't wait to get out on some longer rides now.

Love a rider who builds his own bikes. Why have it any other way. Not like it's difficult. Who popped in the bearings for you?

Love the elongated fork crown, graceful. Love the fast forward position and the wheels.

"Bon courage" for when you cut the steerer.

Thanks! I picked up the frame from Sigma Sport, so got them to pop the bottom bracket bearings in at the same time, also had them provisionally cut the steerer to leave 20mm on top of the stem *just in case*

I really enjoy the build process myself, feels a lot more rewarding to build something I ride as well, and I know the bike that way as well. Also means I get to exact my own spec, rather than getting parts I don't really want. And like you say, its not difficult either.

Not sure whether I'll cut the steerer further just yet, chances are I'll leave as is. Going to order the S5 two position seat post as well (unless anyone has one for sale!?) so I can get the saddle mounted a bit more centrally, as I am literally slammed fully forward on the saddle rails at the moment.

  • Lovely bikes, they seem to be a bit under the radar...you won't be disappointed with it.
