It is indeed just your weight, but in reality, clearly the bike's weight will have an impact on your ability to climb and accelerate, as it is with you all the time when cycling! (obviously!)
I am 68kg with my bike; if I can make it 67, whether off me or off the bike, i will go* faster up hills.
If you're fairly small and don't have a big power output (like me) then weight (and aero) becomes proportionally more important.

Aero is more important than weight (for bikes) for Britain IMO.0

Exmoor. Porlock and Dunkery are perhaps the best known, but there are scores of hills, some even steeper than Porlock, across the moor.
Porlock Hill: https://www.strava.com/segments/847912 : max >30% ave 12%
Dunkery Beacon: https://www.strava.com/segments/6665334 : max 20% ave 10%
In the twin villages of Lynton & Lynmouth alone you'll find:
Sinai Hill: https://www.strava.com/segments/1257506 : max 36% ave 22%
Lydiate Lane: https://www.strava.com/segments/2915033 : max >30 ave 18%
Lynmouth Hill: https://www.strava.com/segments/900789 : max >25 ave 17%
Countisbury Hill: https://www.strava.com/segments/1542091 : max >25% ave 10%
One of them hits 126% - might not be the most reliable Strava segments... ;-)0 -
In any case Exmoor is proper hilly with very steep climbs. Must be great!0

I've ridden up it with a loaded tourer. Didn't enter the details on Stava but may have made a note in my diary.0 -
