When my Garmin HRM stopped working last week I was within a gnat's whisker of ordering a new strap, on the grounds that a battery change hadn't solved the problem. Then I discovered that you have to short across the battery terminals, to reset the HRM, before it will reconnect to the Garmin head unit. Ta da - HRM working again, without needing to buy a new strap.They use their cars as shopping baskets; they use their cars as overcoats.0

I've had excellent customer service from Garmin. Give them a call and tell them yours isn't working any more, they'll ask you to do some troubleshooting (which won't work) then they'll most likely send you a replacement FOC.0

I got my stra and garmin HRM today but when i clip the strap to the HRM it just pops off ? can anyone help

its almost like the plastic lugs on the strap come up too far to allow the lugs to go in properly0 -
Check there's no "ming" on the press studs. Other than that, no reason for it to happen.0

strap is new
HR lugs are clean.
