    ordered thanks
  • When my Garmin HRM stopped working last week I was within a gnat's whisker of ordering a new strap, on the grounds that a battery change hadn't solved the problem. Then I discovered that you have to short across the battery terminals, to reset the HRM, before it will reconnect to the Garmin head unit. Ta da - HRM working again, without needing to buy a new strap.

I've had excellent customer service from Garmin. Give them a call and tell them yours isn't working any more, they'll ask you to do some troubleshooting (which won't work) then they'll most likely send you a replacement FOC. :)
  • I got my stra and garmin HRM today but when i clip the strap to the HRM it just pops off ? can anyone help

its almost like the plastic lugs on the strap come up too far to allow the lugs to go in properly

Check there's no "ming" on the press studs. Other than that, no reason for it to happen.

    HR lugs are clean.
