Clean after rain

Hey guys,
Can anyone give me advice on how to clean my bike and gears after riding in heavy rain?
At the moment, I wipe off the water with a cloth, then spray some TF2, then put on some Muc-Off Wet Lube.
However my chain still went completely rusty over a period of a few weeks.
Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

Keep sprays well away from a bike as if it gets on the discs the pads will be ruined. Was with a sponge and water ONLY.
Chain lube on the chain (obviously), if its a wet ride put some on before the ride, then clean and reapply after as well.....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
