Easy to Carry Summer Gilet ?

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend me a summer softshell Gilet thats easily carried in a pocket for summer night rides ? Or cooler days for that matter ?
A lot seem to be either the very thin showerproof type gilets, or the heavier type worn in Spring/Autumn, but perhaps not easily carried ?
Ideally I guess, a soft windproof gilet for when the temp drops is what I'm after, something that rolls up easily, but is snug and warming as the sun goes down ......
Thx :-)

The Endura Fs260 I also recommend...
I tend to use it all seasons to keep the chest from wind chill and then when warmed up packed away into a rear pocket.
I went a size down to keep it tight... last thing I wanted was a hateful flappy thing.0 -
Not sure about one that fits those requirements, but one where you can access jersey pockets might be a good idea.
Anything windproof should be good enough. If its that cold you will need something on your arms anyway.0 -
Gore active shell vest. I use this with arm warmers right down to 6 or 7c, I did 4hrs last Sunday with just that combination. It's not too hot when the weather is warmer either.

It would be quite a specific garment but a thin longsleaved packable with wind proof front and Roubaix lined arms would be ideal for summer day riding into chilly evening riding.
It would be smaller and more convenient than gillet plus arm warmers.0 -

Ive got a Sportful Hot Pack Gilet. Very good bit of kit, now ive lost a bit of weight however, it can be like a sail on a windy day!Canyon Roadlite AL-Shamal Wheels-Centaur/Veloce Group

Decathlon do a very good copy of the Hotpack which is £20 and it packs very very small. You scarcely notice it in a jersey pocket.

Mines slightly flappy at over 25mph but keeps the wind off well and offers some rain resistance.
Good venting so doesn't get sweaty at all.0 -
Mavic Espoir. Very light, no bulk when folded and offers good proaction.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0

+1 for this, it's excellent for the price0 -
The Decathlon inflatable gilet's an interesting concept, anyone got one? It's probably a bit over-engineered but if it's really packable when deflated it would have some merit. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/inflatable-w ... 82713.html0
