Due to the joys of meeting up with the erm 'charming' sister and brother in law, I've decided to cycle to lunch in Ludlow - so a decent ride should help me bite my tongue for a few hours

Later will be the pub whilst we dissect their behaviour

    Morning all,
Slow start to the day as is traditional. Not much going on, going to take the family out for a spot of lunch somewhere, bit of pottering around here and probably pub later.

Joys of grocery shopping this morning, quick cuppa, then pack some lunch and head out for a leisurely cycle with the fiancée, before relaxing for the rest of the day.

    Afternoon Gimboids,

I've had the joy of dealing with the largely helpful but disjointed social services and NHS sorting my folks out. Getting up twice in the middle of the night to help them hasn't done me wonders either. May need some cans of 'Monster' to keep me awake on the long drive south in a bit. Laters...

    Afternoon Losers!

So, the car lives! Turns out the cable to the crank sensor was rubbing against the car body, and shorting out. They've now changed it, and a few mechanics were saying how it was a lucky find, and they wished they'd found it! £50 for the part, £100 for the labour. Bearing in mind it's been with them a week, I'd say that's not bad actually!

So, today involves laying about doing nowt.

    Laters!

Being trying to shift this bloody man cold for the last few days. Luckily I had half a bottle of JD tennessee honey in the fridge and I have to say it is awesomes for a sore throat. Have also had a few hot currys, some more rum (Red Leg) and even tried some ale as well as a few handfulls of cold/flu tabs. Seems to have helped though

Have had another lazy day today, quick trip to the shop for some supplies followed by some more rum. Just cooked some steak fajitas with extra chilli and extra mature cheddar, this will be washed down with more rum. Think I might watch Fury tonight, toodles

So having failed to compliment her hair after it was cut yesterday, I thought I'd try to make amends today. Apparently my comment of "your hair looks nice love" was inappropriate when she'd just got out the shower and had a towel wrapped round her head like a turban. FFS
