Well, the Inbred frame has been gracefully retired to commuter duties. Changed all my components to the Hoodoo frame. It climbs better and seems to handle better too. This is now my work bike
I'll probably get a 100mm rigid fork to finish it off though.
Pics of the Hoodoo in the Hoodoo thread!

Hi,
how do you find slicks compared to knoblies for commuting. My bike is doubling up as both at the moment and am considering slicks. How is the grip, hard braking for emergencies and if it gets a bit wet? Never tried slicks before.

The City Jets that I'm using are perfect for commuting. They roll fast and I haven't had any issues with grip. Also, they've been fine under braking too.
They are very cheap to buy (around £10 each). Miles better than the Ardents that were originally on the Hoodoo.Stumpjumper FSR Comp 650B http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13032340
