Got up, went back to bed with breakfast :D

Waiting for postman to deliver my bank cards, they ran out last Friday, can't use PayPal, can't visit ebay, can't buy online, how does being so tardy help the banks?

Cheap day! :D

Mrs.HD is at some charity fashion show tonight so I might get a quick bimble around the village and beyond in the dark.

Other than that, all my bank cards are in order and its onwards to a ten o'clock cup of tea.

    Morning all,
Lovely ride in this morning, if a bit chilly. Then I got to work and things started to go downhill. Everything is fine and dandy, just not as nice as the ride in. Might go out for a stroll at lunchtime as I need to go in search of food again. I wish we were based in Richmond where we used to be, much better quality totty that way as the rich men married good looking women and have rich, good looking daughters. Around here they are all fat, ugly, smoking, foul mouthed, tattooed old tarts.

Work, which consisted of solving minor technical irritations created by "others".

Howling wind on the way home, and even riding a 200+ kg motorcycle I was still getting blown around. Funny watching the kite surfers in it. Had it been in the other direction, New Zealand would currently be receiving a lot of illegal immigrants dressed in neoprene. Although, a fair proportion of them were probably kay one double ewe ones anyway.

Dropped in on way home to dermatologist for annual "Dignity Demolition Derby", a conversation which goes something like this:

    Me: Hello Doc, how's things?

Him: Fine thanks. Please take off *all* your clothes, socks, jocks and glasses and stand naked under this very bright light while I survey you like a lab specimen with a magnifying glass.

    Me:  Yes Doc.

Usually this is quick and over in 5 minutes, but today...

Him: Oooooh look! That one should go, and that and that and that. Yay! Please lay on that cold slab of a table while I stick needles in, then slash those off with a scalpel, followed by a quick blast of laser to stop the bleeding. There! All done. Ring me in a week for the biopsy results. Should be fine.

Me: Thanks. I needed cheering up this week, much appreciated. See you in a year. :|

Home to a significantly larger than usual scotch, then dinner and wine. This has improved things immeasurably. :D

    Roll on Friday. 'Night all.

All the bank cards are in good order but no money to spend.

Speaking of banking, why is it that before compooters, a cheque took 3 days to clear and now it takes 5?! Why is it that if you pay a RBS cheque into an RBS account, it takes 5 days to clear when I know that it is all done 'in-house' in that scenario?

Fettling day today and not with bikes, more's the pity.

'Slash' what off exactly WS!?

I'm guessing Moles, and not the fury little types or you'll need more than a biopsy!

Only as a taxi driver I'm afraid.

Anyway as this is a fairly anonymous forum I thought I'd report on my lunch as I had one of these new fangled "juices".

Celery, Kale, Spinnach, Lemon, Cucumber, beetroot and a few nectarines to sweetent it up - Good god it was awful...

The liquid found at the bottom of a compost bin is not "juice" :D

That's cryptic, in this thread. Another coded message to T47 for a hit?

No, sounds more like "slurry". Bleurgh!

Thank the Lord for that, last thing I needed was a bunch of numpties pointing and giggling. The annoying part is that it takes the best part of a year to get an appointment with this specialist, so you dare not skip it or try and re-schedule. Generally I've had nothing needing any treatment, but as my luck goes, this time I had one on my left cheek, one on the right jaw and two on the front of my neck removed, plus a few others in less visible spots, leaving me looking a bit like an extra in a zombie flick. And next week, I have two job interviews. Great first impression... :|

Wheelspinner - hopefully they're all benign?

    Evening Gits,

I get home to discover Matt h has pulled a fast one and anounced the caption results after I crahed out last night, how sneaky :)

Quite enjoying the light mornings which makes the pedal in more pleasant. I murdered the epic Col de Denmark Hill and Mont Crystal Palace climbs. Board presentation tomorrow so need to make sure I pick a tie with no food stains on it tomorrow morning.

Yep, hope there's no further treatment necessary, he reckoned they were all harmless, but doing the Irish thing... to be sure, to be sure..

Considering the amount of time spent in my yoof in the sun wearing little more than a thin film of coconut oil (SPF = 0), I have remarkably few problems. My partner goes to the same specialist twice yearly thanks to very fair skin and freckles and a previous fight with melanoma, and each time returns looking like he's been tied to a stick in a paintball game and used as target practice with the red ones. I think the record count was 47 zots with the freezer thing or knife, so my paltry single figure total doesn't warrant much sympathy at home..

    Bit of a relief.

Makes me quite glad I live somewhere as cold and grey as I do, I am a grade A sun dodger with some Celtic ancestry.

I appear to have lots of plastic :) Although Celtic can include Irish - or Welsh, so you're guessing

Now I understand why you seem to be drawn to places highly populated by sheep at the weekend. Why don't you move to one, I did?

I suppose we'd better not ask why you moved to a place full of sheep. Still, if you clean the little black pellets out of your wellies regularly it shouldn't be a problem :)

Were pretty settled here, schools are good, friends are mostly here and pretty much all the jobs I would be able to do are round here.
