to bib or not to bib

that is the question..

Either over the last few months of tight wearing my thighs have turned from saplings to tree trunks or, more likely, i shrunk my shorts in the tumble dryer  . Anyway I need to get a new pair of shorts. My tights were bib tights and, apart from the nuisance when you need to pee I quite like them. Just wondering what the consensus is on bib shorts, I never remember standard shorts being that irritating apart from occaisonally digging into your stomach, but now I've tried bib tights I'm wondering whether the extra bit of money to get bib versions is worth it?

Just to be different I cant stand Bibs. I have had a couple of pairs over the years but just cant get on with them. They are good for winter stop any draughts getting to your back but they irritate the hell out of me I feel like I cant stand up straight without strangling the Plums.

I love the lack of draughts and avoiding the tendency of shorts to roll-over the waistband, but having a proportionately long back bibs can mean strangled plums or furrowed shoulders.

Go to a tailor and get the straps extended, I have the same problem being tall with a long back.

I believe the tailors shop is next to the apothacary and opposite the habadasher, near the iron monger.
