As the title says... What is your favourite time to go out and ride?

I think I agree with you OP, the morning commute that starts at 6.30am when it's light enough not to have to use lights on the bike. My commute is through the Lakes and the views on some of the higher roads are stunning in certain morning light.
The weekend rides have to wait until later in the day - I need my lie-ins!0 -
Favourite time would have to be 7pm to 9pm on a nice summer's evening. Bliss.Bianchi ImpulsoBMC Teammachine SLR02 01Trek Domane AL3“When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the human race. “ ~H.G. Wells Edit - "Unless it's a BMX"0

Most times April to September, not so much now, 30mph winds, sleet and 2 degrees this morning! looks the same tomorrow too! fun!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0

Whenever it's relatively calm - preferably dry - ambivalent about the temperature so long as it's not too hot (you can always dress for the prevailing temperature, to a point (in my case that's about 20C before I melt under pressure )
Today - +2C, hail, gusting wind to 70km/h - not fun to ride into, or across - splendid to ride with it at your back though0 -
I really enjoy my morning commute which is around 7:30am, especially if the weather is nice. It's also a lovely feeling flying by the traffic on the A road into town as they are all nearly stopped, while i'm on the bike lane free sailing.0

Pretty much this. 6am on a Sunday morning means I can head out on roads which would normally be crazy busy but they are almost deserted. So I can get out to the good cycling roads with little fuss.
Problem is by about 12noon when I'm on my return the roads have busied right up so I have to sticker to the quieter and much hiller roads.0 -
Weekend mornings / bank holidays. Warmer weather is nice, but generally speaking provided it's dry and not blowing a gale then I'm happy.0

Yesterday, just now or 'a little earlier'.
That way, I can talk it up as much as I like.
I can tell people I was still doing 10mph when I creasted a really horrid climb (even though I've managed that only once).
I can tell people I hit 51mph on a wicked piece of downhill, even though my speedo's never registered over 45.
I can say whatever I like and it will always be true.
That is never so when the ride has yet to happen.0 -
3.30am...no cars...not nice getting out of bed though.0

i like the 6-7am time, the roads are quiet and the sky is getting lighter. also have a chance of seeing the potholes.Cube Cross 2016

I'm Not a morning person and like to get calories into my body before I ride. I'd prefer to ride early afternoon at the weekend or after work mid week.
My problem is club rides are at 07:00 in the morning which I hate. I end up getting out of bed earlier at the weekend than I do to go to work. I can understand people with families like to get the ride out of the way so accept this even though I hate it.0 -
