CAAD 8 Questions

Hi all,

I've got a place in the Fred Whiton so looking to make couple of changes to my 2013 Caad 8 Sora, but need some help first:

1. Does anybody know what the largest rear sprocket is the factory fit Sora mech can take (currently riding a 12-26,would like to go to 28/30) I've looked for specs but can't find the mech length as it leaves the shop, hopefully somebody has tackled this!!

2. Will the Caad 8 frame accept 25mm tires without rubbing?

    The short cage mech can take up to 27t, and the medium cage can take up to 32t.

    The Caad 8 should be able to take 25C tyres- the Evans cycles Q&A reckon you can fit up to 28mm so you should be fine :)

    Don't know about the rear cassette, but as far as tyres go I used 28mm Gatorskins on mine for P-R.

    They are tight but no sign of rubbing, 25s should be fine.
