That MTN jersey is an almost exact replica of my all-time favourite T-Shrt.

You have terrible taste, or are a Newcastle fan.

Black, white and yellow work well together, but.....

Trentin out of the running with cramp. Not good for the EQS lead out train.

Did I miss much? I always get the impression this is like one of the sprint stages in a grand tour, you can normally fast forward the first few hours!

It should have been a car crash, especially considering the militant pro-animal messaging. But it Quickstepped past the Haç fascist police more than once.

There was a select group which had 1 min with 45km to go but lack of cooperation with EQS & the pace of the chasing peloton thanks to MTNQ and other teams which missed the selection, meant all back together for the closing circuits.

Kwaremont saw Sep and Boonen make a split then Stannard made the junction with some riders on his wheel. Cav in a group behind made the junction slightly later. 25 riders got a min on the MTN led peloton. Never really got it together despite Boonen shouting at them. They lost the gap with about 30km to go. Nothing has happened since.

Come on Gilbert, let's take it away from the sprinters. Not a bad gap

Bloody headwind. He may have even got it if it was normal wind.

Thank goodness Cavendish won that. Was not looking forward to a Kristoff win. Congratulations. Sky swamped in the last km but Viviani made 3rd. Jumbo 4th, MTN 5th.

Good sprint from Cav there. Boonen, his lead, got squeezed out of that one but in a split second he headed right to go it alone and get past Kristoff for the win.

At least there won't be the obligatory early season "Cav is finished" thread now.

Cav with 6 wins - most of any rider so far this season.

LOL W Peeters said Cav wasn't good enough to make it today and he was too small. But Cav said his team believed in him. Suck on it Wilfred.
(unless that is his way of motivating him...never good to tell Cav he can't do it)

Cav testing positive for solvents post-race interview. He's all over the place.
