Hi all,
Planning to but one of these Merida bikes in the next few weeks. Wondering if anybody has any experience with it. In particular am curious about frame sizes as I have never ridden a 650b bike and want to make sure that I get the right one. According to the Merida website I am in between sizes. Would you guys go for the larger or smaller frame if you where in the same position.
Have ridden medium Spesh bikes in the past and found the fir of the medium stump jumper to be spot on.
Cheers in advance

Best way would be to compare the geometry of the bikes you've ridden to this one, effective top tube length being probably the most important rather than standoff.0

Oh and I'm 175cm tall....0

So, my old medium 2011 stumpjumper has a top tube length of 555mm and the merida small has a top tube length of 560mm. The Medium spesh also has a simliar reach, stack and wheel base to the merida.
Hmmm still unsure0 -
Antm81, by effective top tube length do you mean the 'actual' top tube length or the 'horizontal' top tube length?0
-
Effective should be horizontal, should also include any layback on the seat post and stem length0
