Snapped frame, what new one?

So while on my way home on Monday night and this happened.
It was just like that, pootling along, not putting any power down, just snap!
So the question is what frame do I get to replace it? It's an old Raleigh Airlite that I've upgraded so I'm happy to just swap in a new frame, that and I can't afford a whole bike! I cycle about 30miles a day 3-4 days a week all year round so need something reliable.
So far I've been looking at this Dolan Preffisio frame set
http://www.dolan-bikes.com/road/road-framesets/road-framesets-aluminium/dolan-preffisio-aluminium-road-frameset.html
Also been looking at Ribble and their Audax and Sportive Alu 7005 frames.

http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/frames-frames-audax-winter-ribble-winter-audax-7005-frame/ribbfraw220
But then I looked at a certain german online retailer and saw this...
http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/cube-agree-gtc-comp-frame-carbon-n-white-n-blue-233553/wg_id-6868
Which admittedly is a bit over budget but it's carbon! And I've always wanted a carbon bike. But I'm not completely sure that it would be practical as my only commuter bike, would love to be persuaded otherwise! And I'd have to convince the boss that it would be worth the extra 100ish!
At the moment heart is saying carbon Cube, head is saying alu Dolan! Any better ideas?

2 bikes is obviously more reliable than 1!Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0

Have got a 55cm Condor Squadra frame going cheap. £75 plus postage... Carbon/Alu. Bought it on a whim, realised I don't have enough in the parts bin to make up a full bike0

Yes, I've not forgotten about the other related costs, which is one of the reasons that the Dolan is so attractive as it includes forks, headset, seat post and clamp.0

dhope that sounds like a most excellent offer thank you. What sort of height would a 55cm be best suited for? I had a quick google for condor size guide and the best i could find was...
I'm 6ft2" so am guessing it might be too small?0 -

It'd possibly be slightly on the small side. I have a 55cm Tempo which is spot on for me at 5'11". Sizing here

The one I have is fairly tatty however. Previous owner painted it black for some reason, and apparently did so with their eyes closed.

But then that's why it's £750 -
Thanks for that dhope, but I think I'll pass if that's ok, purely on the size issue. My old Raleigh was definitely the wrong size for me and my main silver lining of it snapping was getting a frame that better fits me. The offer is much appreciated though.0

Could be worth giving Ribble a buzz to see if they have anything in clearance...

60cm Audax frame for £70 looks decent. Would need a fork but they might have one too0 -
Ooh, Cervelo RS for £250
58cm, would fit.

Wish I was a little bit taller...0 -

I've been having a think, and a measure, and you're on dhope, if it's still available that is? I'll PM you.0
