Hi,

My 2010 F4:13 has a MOst 30.9mm (I think). However Where ever I'm looking - It states that that pinarello uses 31.6.

Is it possible the previous owner installed some shim?

Looking for a new seatpost, I want to make sure I'm getting the right diameter.

Thanks...

Google comes up with nothing useful. Pinarello only do manuals back to 2012.

Suggest you whip it out and measure the seatpost with calipers. Or ask a friendly LBS to measure it for you. As a last resort wrap a strip of paper round it, mark where it overlaps and then measure the circumference and work out the diameter from that.

It should be obvious if there's a shim stuck in the seat-tube. Shims often not recommended by CF frame manufacturers, my Scott included.

If you can't see a shim and the current seatpost fits without slipping or becoming stuck, then that's the size you need.
  • Thanks -

I measure 30.90 (Digital calipers), But since I can't find any documentation for such dimension on a Pinarello post, I was hoping someone experienced with Pinarello, preferably that model, will be able to comment from experience...
