Swapping cassette

I have one wheel and two SRAM cassettes, an 11-32 and an 11-26.

I swap them sometimes depending on the route I am riding.

With the terrible noise that the lock ring ratchet makes when removing or fitting a cassette I wonder if I am damaging the freehub.

    Unless you're going all gorilla on it I doubt you're doing any damage.

    If you find the noise too disturbing you'd best be saving for a second rear wheel / tyre / tube.

    Swap for an 11-28, best/worst of both ;)
