Very tempted to do this, this year, but I've never done anything like it. I don't have a cross bike, I have a steel road bike (Condor Acciaio) with 25mm tyres, will it be fun or a bloody nightmare?
Any thoughts?0 -

One puncture also, as I left the pub at the end!
Bought a cheep single speed for the ride - it hurt
what hurt?
thinking of getting SSCX and doing it single speed too, but worried about gearing/hills.
Not sure asking advice from someone who did the Shropshire Hills on a single speed though.0
