i just posted this in workshop but its probably more appropriate here
i am looking at upgrading the wheels on my bike and have been offered a set of fulcrum racing 1 wheels from either 2011 or 2012 and i wanted to know if they are tubeless from standard? ie no rim tape etc, can i just fit a set of tubeless tyres and add some sealant and off i go? If they are not all tubeless is there a way to tell as im not sure what the fulcrum 2 way fit is all about

many thanks in advance for any help

Post here on this topic which suggests how to tell if the rims are 2 way fit or not. Don't worry about reference to Campag wheels as Fulcrums are the same wheels badged for non Campag use.

One contributor states you can't use a non-2 way fit rim to run tubeless - another saying it's perfectly possible.

Pick the bones out of that until wiser heads chip in hopefully.
