I know there's loads of websites out there Mapmyride Strava etc etc. and this friviolity is not required.

But it would be good to assemble a cycle superhighway map across UK.

I am going to work on Staffordshire...

Good luck laying your straight line cycle path over the mountains in Cumbria and Scotland.

Given what passes for a cycle path in this country I'd have thought that was possible - if you can find some blue paint that will stick to heather without killing the plant you've got a chance.

    OK. Here's a bit.

Don't worry about section no's too much for the minute.
  • Build a little wall to close off the hard shoulder on motorways and you have a national cycle network at little cost. Bit noisy mind.

I'm not sure doing a link across South Wales that misses out Swansea, Cardiff and Newport will help usage (but it's still a better effort than my Transport Planner colleagues would probably come up with!!).

A few tons of gravel will link the Hebrides up.

I'm disappointed that you only have a North/South superhighway in Scotland. You'll have to do better than that if you want my vote. However, you did redeem yourself by bypassing Edinburgh and Glasgow.
