I'm in the process of upgrading. After a load of research and also test rides I've whittled it down to these two bikes. I've test rode both of the bikes and they both fit well and both feel really nice. I appreciate the Trek is the 2014 model but I still like it.

- Trek Madone 4.7 2014

- Cube Agree GTC

My question was: has any one got experience of riding any of these bikes? I think recommendations will sway my decision. Hope someone can help

I've got a 2014 Madone 4.7 and I love it. It's light, stiff and great fun to ride... I imagine you'll get a Cube owner saying the same about their's though.

They both look like great bikes. Which pulls at your heart strings?

I also have the 2014 Madone 4.7, I also absolutely love it.
I ride a fair few bikes / makes and I really enjoy going back to the Madone. Mine with winter wheels and a few small upgrades (carbon saddle, stem, architype wheels) weighs in at 7.88kgs.
Again though as the above posters say a Cube owner will say the same, I guess it depends on which one you prefer the look of. (In my opinion the Madone looks pretty good especially with nice wheels on it)
