Any recommendations for a 150mm 26" full suspension frame?
I can only seem to find the Saracen Ariel new as everything is 650b now, lots of second hand stuff in 26" but I'l like new.
Surely not everything is 650b?!

140mm but rides more like 150, takes 140-160mm forks, mate has one and really rates it.

Yeah being eying the el guapo, but theyre for 170mm.
Basically, I've killed my Canyon so I was thinking about combining parts from the Canyon and 456 into 1 bike.
So its either 1 180mm travel bike or 1 150mm travel bike... 150mm makes more sense!
staggered that 26" has pretty much disappeared! I didnt realise it was so extensive!0 -
Sell off the bits while they're still worth something and go 650b. There are hardly any new 26" frames left, as you say most are in midget or giant sizes.0

It's been surprisingly swift, hasn't it. About two years for the main flush. All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

There are some really nice used frames available, nearly new for bugger all money.
Im already preparing to go 650b due to the lack of choice. I have got a 650b fork on my 26" bike so just need rims and spokes when I get a frame.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Thats the problem really, they're worth bugger all... aside from the rear shock and wheels on the Canyon, most the other stuff isn't worth enough to sell and fund a whole new bike.
I think I'm going to chuck the good stuff from the Canyon onto the 456 for now, try and sell everything thats left and then maybe invest in something brand new.
Maybe its time to get the dream bike.0
