London to Southahmpton

Anyone know a good off road route for this or a combination of routes? I can do it on mtb or CX so if there are road sections it's no big deal.

    A quick and easy way would be to follow the route that the BHF London to Brighton off-road ride takes.

    It must cross the SDW at some point (near Shoreham I think) Simply head West along the SDW all the way to Winchester. You're not too far from Soton then (I used to ride Eastleigh to Winchester off road)

    TBH not exactly a direct route and not a day ride. But without looking at the map and choosing routes that may/may not work out its an option.
