From West London down to Southampton off road? I've googled but nothing much has come up.

Start on the off road route to Brighton and then, when it intersects with the South Downs Way follow that to Winchester?
  • Cheers for that Andyp but not sure I have 200 off road miles in my legs for one day :) Might save that for another day though, looks like it'd be a good trip.

    Start early.

Didn't realise it would be quite that far.

From West London, you could try and find a route that picks-up the North Downs Way that runs west to Farnham and then connect with the Shipwright's Way runs from Bentley, near Farnham to Portsmouth - the section around Bordon isn't signed yet, so you'll have to work out a route, but there are bridleways etc. You can pick-up the SDW from Petersfield and then maybe work-out a route down to S'ton?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
