    The XR1 frame is a little heavier than the XR2, Campag's not the lightest and the wheels aren't that light either.

    Still, 7.5kg isn't exactly a porker is it?

    thehighroad, the chorus version will be great, I wanted campag/chorus but the budget wouldn't quite stretch to it. I love the feel of the levers and the more positive gear change.

    dodger747, This is an actual weight off a good set of digital scales with pedals. Usually find claims of weights aren't always what we expect nor what manufacturers publish such as my mates Scott Foil 15, that's over 8kg when claimed to be much less.

    I'm sure there's ways to go lighter but as always the budget limitations kick in. Its definitely no porker, I ride my steel Croix de feur if I want a real work out :)
