    Nice colour.

    What is the "advantage" of retro down tube shifters? If not brifters, I would opt for bar end shifters?

    Saves weight & less ugly, better shifting performance due to simpler cable runs & you can jump right up or down the cassete in one go.

    If you want to get retro, fit some bar-cons - DT shifters for CX isn't a great idea
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    DT are ok for a "gravel grinder" bike though its not built up for a cx race. :roll:
