Bottom bracket removal

Hi,

I've tried unsuccessfully to remove the bottom bracket on my bike. I've already taken it to two local bike shops who have both not had any success in removing the bracket itself.

The crank itself is quite wobbly and tightening of the bolts has not made a difference which makes me think it's the bottom bracket causing the issue.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

I've attached images too.

Thanks.

    Plumbers wrench will do it.....
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • Ideally you need to find a Stein BB cup tool:

That was an absolute lifesaver on many occasions when I was working in a shop. Once you have the wrench firmly fixed by the cup tool, you can then clamp the wrench in a vise and use the frame itself for leverage.
