Converting 180mm Zee to 200mm rear brake

I have a Canyon Torque with 180mm rotor Zee brakes.
Want a 200mm rotor on the rear, but can't find an adaptor for rear that is 200mm post mount to post mount (they are all post to IS).
Would the shimano 200mm post to post front adaptor do the job?

Thanks. J

A front adaptor won't work as the stock front mounts suite a 160mm disc while at the rear suite a 140mm disc (assuming you have standard mounts.

No8 on the list.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
The question would be why?
No need for a big rotor on the back.I don't do smileys.

It is a 7" travel bike, so not that unreasonable!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

because he wants one :roll:0 -
No need for the rolley eyes.
Trying to uncover the why that makes the want. It might be fair enough to the why, but often the why is pointless and just costs money.0 -
Its a fairly normal set up on a DH bike where you want lots of power from single finger braking and good heat dissipation. Most DH bikes come with a 203 rear rotor as standard.

Yes, it will work if the frame has 160mm post mounts, front post mount adapters work on rear post mounts too.
That Shimano adapter is for a 203mm rotor, if you want a 200mm adapter get the Avid '40mm Post' adapter.

Post mount sizes are usually 160mm but they can also be 140mm, 180mm, 200mm & 203mm.
A 203mm adapter is basically a 43mm adapter
A 200mm adapter is basically a 40mm adapter
A 180mm adapter is basically a 20mm adapter
A 183mm adapter is basically a 23mm adapter
140mm post mounts + 180mm adapter = 160mm rotor
140mm post mounts + 200mm adapter = 180mm rotor
140mm post mounts + 203mm adapter = 183mm rotor
160mm post mounts + 180mm adapter = 180mm rotor
160mm post mounts + 200mm adapter = 200mm rotor
160mm post mounts + 203mm adapter = 203mm rotor
180mm post mounts + 180mm adapter = 200mm rotor
180mm post mounts + 183mm adapter = 203mm rotor
To use a 200mm rotor on 140mm post mounts you'd need to attach a 200mm adapter to a 180mm adapter.
