Carbotech Wheels

Been having problems with broken spokes on my Giant Defy so decided to have a look at some cheapish wheels.
The two that stand out as very good value for money are the Carbotech K22 and K30 wheelsets weighing in at just 1445g and 1465g respectively!
Plus they are both less than £100 for the pair, it almost sounds too good to be true.
Is there a catch? Has anyone had any experience with them?
Thanks in advance!

Are those weights correct?
Merlin quote 1700.

They quote 1780 and even that one seems rather optimistic... budget cup and cone hubs weigh a ton... look at Tiagra, which are over 500 g...
I would be suprised if they turned out to be less than 1850 as specced by Merlinleft the forum March 20230 -
I noticed there were discrepancies in the weight stated between the carbotech and merlin cycles websites. I got a recommendation for these wheels from a friend and for the price they appear a good bargain. However, I have since asked at my trusted LBS and he recommended to steer clear, very heavy wheels and not great build quality in his opinion.
I've decided to go with Shimano RS11's instead0
