Cannondale vs Giant

Hi guys,
I posted a few weeks ago asking for advice as I'm looking for a new endurance bike ahead of me doing the Etape in the summer. I've managed to narrow down my options down to three. With a budget of £2k I'm looking at the Cannondale Synapse Ultegra (non disc), Giant Defy Advanced 1, and Giant Defy Advanced Pro 2.
Just wondered if anyone had any if the models or could advise me on which would offer best value for money?
Thanks in advance.

Are you against buying previous years models? PaulsCycles stock previous model years Cannondales & Giant with more than 50% off sometimes.0

Are the defys your looking at the 2015 disc ones? Only reason I asked is it was mentioned in a bike shop I was in at the weekend that they might not be allowed in the L'etape due to it being involved with the UCI & disc equipped bikes haven't been passed yet..not sure how much truth is in this??0

The Defys are this years version and it's a good point, can't see anything anywhere on the net though.0
