  • As far as wheels for time trialling and triathlon goes, they're the best bang for buck out there. On the other hand, If you want a pair of wheels for your road bike, then maybe not so. The all range use rather heavy alloy or alloy + fairing rims, built for aerodynamics rather than every day use. Then of course you need to factor in VAT and import tax

Not sure why you can't use those Flo wheels on a road bike, other people I've read about on other forums have. You can also now order one with a few more spokes, for the rear I think, for extra strength if you need to due to rider weight or just want a more reliable wheel.

Also you could consider these: http://www.planetx.co.uk/c/q/wheels/road-bike-wheels

I never said you can't... but with the same money you can buy better ROAD wheels

Flo annoys me. Well, not so much Flo as the people who buy them and thus feel obligated to extol their virtues. Same with Zipp. I suppose it is amusing to watch Flo fanboys tell Zipp users that their stupid for paying much more for what they deem to be inferior wheels and Zipp fanboys respond by telling their Flo counterparts that they're just jealous they can't afford better wheels. Still doesn't make up for the amount of dross you have to dig through on Slowtwitch...
