appologies if this is a stupid question, but can you re-use the grease syringe that comes with the V8 pedals. I've used mine, tried to re-fill it the normal way you would a syringe and it didn't work, so I pulled the pusher out and pushed some grease in and then the pusher, and instead of pushing the grease out the nozzle, it just oozed passed the pusher, so the syringe looks like it's a goner. So are the syringes 1 use only and you have to buy a new one everytime you think the bearings need a top up?

Just buy a decent grease gun for a tenner or there abouts, then get some good quality grease in a tube and it'll last you ages.
I've got the Exus Eco gun (about £11 from evans, IIRC) and some Exus E-G01 (£3.99 or 3-for-£10 from Rutland cycles) - absolutely excellent on both counts.0
