Netflix phishing email

Just had an email claiming to be from netflix:
Sounds pretty phishy, but it also includes my name and a part of my card details (XXXX XXXX XXXX 1234, but with the correct last 4 digits and expiry date). Have contacted netflix and established it's not genuine and changed my password. Slightly concerned as to how they got any of my card details though, would it have been through netflix somehow?
Each month we automatically attempt to renew your subscription based on the preferences you selected upon signing up with Netflix. We have recently attempted to debit your registered payment method and unfortunately the payment attempt has failed.
We have temporarily limited your services until your account has been validated.
