Flat pedals

Looking for a replacement set of flat pedals up to around £30 and there seem to be a lot of choice out there. I have no idea whether the £10 wellgo ones are going to ride noticeably differently from a £30 pair.
So what should I be looking for in regards to features and materials or has this been done to death and there is one pair to rule them all?

Wellgo MG1 - should be around £20 on Ebay, light, well made and grippy.
Although I'm a number of people will be along shortly to tell you why spending a lot more will be more enduro.I don't do smileys.

I dont like the MG1. Personal choice rather than any real problem. I much prefer Shimano Saint flats, nicer profile and I prefer the longer pins. Shimanos bearings are easy to survey.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

These always seem good value:
SUPERSTAR NANO'S
SUPERSTAR EL_PLASTIQUE composite version of the Nano's.
I've got the CarbonCycles Exotic version of the Nano's._______________

Saint if they're cheap at the moment. Don't get V8's. V8's are not enduro, among other things (like being any good).Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0

So 4 replies and MG1, Saints and Nano's all recommended.
No mention of V12's or Nukeproof electrons which were on my list.0 -
Nukeproof Electron is the SS El Plastique. I'd go for Nanos personally (nice concave surface and slightly harder wearing than the MG-1 if you're a rock-basher). They go under the Exotic brand name on ebay and are sometimes cheaper, as said.0

Electrons were my second choice over the Nano/Exotic - seem to get good reviews._______________

I've got both the Saints and the Nanos and, while the Saints are good, the Nanos offer more grip. I ride the Nanos most of the time and when I jump on the other bike with the Saints on there's noticable drop in grip. Saints are still good, though, if you can find them cheap and they look better than the Nanos, which look a bit blingtastic in comparison. All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

I also have a set of Nano's. I prefer my Saints (although i rarely use flats these days) just for the better bearings.
Superstar Nano's are identical to Kona Wah Wahs, Exotic, Nukeproof and probably half a dozen others.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Perhaps you should take a look at them again. They're completely different.
Superstar's vs Nukeproof's
For your budget I'd have the MG1's. I found them to offer more grip than the Nano's and they haven't haven't got that stupid raised middle for the axle.0 -
Nano's don't have a raised middle... Superstar delta's do though... I love my Nano's, super Grippy.0

Actually they do. I have a set and it's easy to see in pictures as well.0 -

Sorry, didn't know we were talking about the Evo version (are we, it's not been mentioned until now?). The non-Evo Neutron is the El Plastique though.0 -

TBH I'm just assuming he is asking about the latest version just like I'm assuming he's talking about the latest V12's which aren't awful unlike the older design.0 -

Yes, given the standard advice is to remove them it would save all the faff if they did.All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.
