Maybe not for you lot yet but your turn will come.

Today will be mainly a test of willpower. I have to survive several hours in a room with a bunch of "marketing" specialists without murderising* any of them. Has this ever been achieved?

Coffee #1 done already, and I suspect there will be more, up to the point where the office drinks fridge timer lock gets hacked. Thereafter, things may improve.

thank feck for that - been a long week

Today is Stoke with an early dart as I'm meeting the family for a swim and then its a romantic meal with the current wife which apparently I'm cooking - this isn't going to end well

For you , her or both of you?

Panel all day, so kill me now. I'll spend most of it wondering how fucked I am if I don't do anything tomorrow even if I've only known this lass for a couple of weeks. Oh well one way to find out

On the plus side healthy lunch of salmon salad from last nights supper. Just bought some shoe trees and got in a quick 5k run this morning

Ta, although perhaps I should credit Ken Dodd, or his diddy men, as it is a bastardisation of "I'll marmalise you".
Glad it's Friday even if I have come down with man flu. Wimped out and drove in, could use the excuse that I might have to pick up a large mirror. But mostly I wimped out. Need to buy a card for the EPO, this should do. Cafe later for fried dead pig. Woohoo!
Onwards, to glory. Or getting out of here at least.

Some times you have to buy things which you may not want but are for the best. Take whiskey as another example

Just BTW, WTF does "sa0u823e" signify anyway? :?

ETA: pardon the acronyms. It's late Friday and I am making up for your aversion to scotch by drinking your share as well.

Wheelspinner, nothing was a user ID a long time ago, so just something I use on forums to avoid being creative.

Sean , are you asking me to marry you?

How much do you spend on clothes per year? No idea not enough but probably too much, I go with the buy once, buy nice/quality
How old are you? late 20's
Why aren't you married? That requires people to like you
Do you want children? Not really thought about it except the selfish view; it would ruin skiing and cycling

    Fark off.

Urg another meeting for the entire afternoon then Gin O clock

Arran don't let these people fool you, they are all very happy to see you return, except perhaps Stevo

    Which scotch?

Sa0u823e, I would love to marry you but I'm already married and engaged!

Wheelspinner, I've had just about enough of your bullish!t and I know exactly where to find you! I'm going to hop in a cab to the airport, go to the toilet, get some duty free, jump on a plane, get another plane, be strip searched for looking a bit dodgy, get another cab..... You know what, just forget it!

You just want the strip and cavity search, admit it.

Bought Rococo for date girl, should be enough to say look I like you but this is far too early.

TO THE PUB and the hendricks, cya later ladies. Arran enjoy the working weekend

Got absolutely soaked riding back so went straight home and sneaked out to get card and whatever flowers were still available on the pretence of getting some petrol. May ask for another leave out to go downhilling tomorrow after I've dished them out :P

@ Sa0u823e. Ffs, don't marry Sean, he'll disappear off BR for 6 weeks whilst he chooses a wedding dress.

@matth - Have you cooked the wife yet?

@ VN - Are you giving out warranties or something?

@ Arran - You see what the threat of being the target of a bent banger does...

    Baler misery today. F*ckety f*ckety, f*ck it.

Can someone find 'Jim' from Advanced Recycling (non)Solutions please? They went mammaries up and can't get a squeak out of them.

    Laters.

  • The empty bottle on the counter this morning is Lagavulin and the newly opened one missing a bit is Talisker. Life's too short and miserable already for cheap scotch.

Islay malts - my favourite whiskies 8)

Talisker, Laphroaig and Lagavulin are top of the list.

Bushmills 8 or 10 year old, Laphroaig or Glenfarclas was my favourite tipple, that is until a very dodgy sesh involving a 1.5 litre bottle of Laphroaig and a Swedish bombshell. Then I was converted to Vodka by said she and never looked back.
Finlandia or Absolut stone cold out of the freezer into a shot glass out of the freezer. Niagara....Sahara. Magic. No hangover if you don't mix.
