Gardone Riviera - Bike hire & routes

We're off to stay on Lake Garda in August as a family, at Gardone Riviera so the south west corner of the lake.
Is anyone able to make any road bike hire suggestions (want to get out for a couple of days), and some half day routes?
Has anyone ever hired road bikes for kids there?

    My mother-in-law has a couple of apartments in Tresnico just up the hill from Gardone and I have used these a few times http://www.matashop.it/ for bike hire. They drop off/pick up as well so is really convenient although their shop is only about a 5 minute drive past Salo so you can always pop in.
