Hi,
I'm looking to invest in some new MTB trainers to replace of the walking shoes I currently use on my DMR V8s.
I think I've narrowed it down it down to the 2 trainers above but would welcome any advice anyone could give me.
The AM41 are about £20 cheaper at £60, they look more water/mud resistance but do look less casual than the Five Tens. I understand the Five Tens are the best for grip.

I reccomend the Shimanos. All the grip you will need and much better suited to British weather than the 5.10 spongesTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
