Single speed confusion - Which square taper?

I'm planning on getting some shorter cranks for my Cinelli Gazzetta single speed. I'm having a challenge getting to grips with the right BB etc. I know plenty about road bike BBs but virtually zero about square taper and track cranks.

These are the cranks I'm thinking of getting.

It states 107mm for width.

The crank I installed some time ago is

I'm pretty sure the BB I installed is http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/BBSTJP400/ ... om-bracket

So the question is will the Origin 8 fit my existing Stronglight BB and will the Origin 8 provide the right chainline?

Cheers to anyone who can shed some light on this.

If the Stronglight BB is 107 mm it will be fine, as all mentioned products are JIS taper.

thanks for that. I thought that would be the case.

I don't suppose anyone knows of a UK retailer that has or can get a 155mm track crankset thats relatively cheap - up to £50 or so. Ive been searching the net and nothing available is coming up - also looked for youth cranksets. Not so concerned on BCD though 144 would be good so I can keep my current chainring. Failing that its going to be the origin 8 but its a bit of a bummer ordering from the U.S - import duties, time etc.

Miche Young is made in 155 mm and not expensive.

I'm running one of these on a Shimano UN55 BB. Started using a years old one till it developed a knock then had to run around the bike shops in Bristol trying to find a 107mm BB which I did thanks to another bike shop phoning around for me.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
