Novatec bearing tool???
Hi,
I'm planning on changing the bearings in my rear hub (novatec A372SB). When I've looked on YouTube for 'how to' uploads most of them show the use of a specific bearing press. What I want to know is, do you really need one of these or is there some other method of doing it or making something 'homemade'?
If anyone has done anything like this before or has any tips/tricks it would be appreciated.

No, you don't. The 372 has a "flanged" 12 mm axle, so the easiest thing to do is to use sockets, a mallet and the old bearing to cushion the impact. Fit the drive side one first, then insert the axle, then fit the non drive side one, it's easier that wayleft the forum March 20230
