B'twin clothing opinions?

I have to go to ikea at Nottingham shortly, it's right next door to decathlon, so naturally I will be taking a look, anybody ride with any of their gear? I was looking at the 700 membrane bib tights, as I really need some, they get good reviews, but was wondering if anybody here rides b'twin clothing?

Yes, got a couple of pairs of their bib shorts & would happily buy again. I've also got some of the their cheaper stuff for commuting. Quality nowhere near as good, but it's cheap & does the job. There is no secret ingredient...0

I had a pair of their cheaper bibs and I ended up cutting the pad out it was that bad.0

Wife was given one of their jerseys as a present but fit was terrible.
I got her a couple of decent jerseys (in a sale) and the quality/fit was miles better.
Guessing they make different levels of quality, but top end stuff with a big discount is the way to go IMO.0 -
yep. I got some aerofit 900 3/4 bib shorts half price and they are great. as Carbonator says, the top end stuff discounted would probably be a good buy, although I've found some of the 700 series to be good too.
when I first started out years ago I had their basic shorts and wore them for ages before I considered trying anything better. I had no idea.0 -

700 series windproof gloves have been good down to about 2 degrees for me.0

Thanks all, I tried some of the 700 series bib tights and they felt good, so bought them, plus some 700 series gloves, at £40 and £12 respectively, they don't break the bank so we will see how they goKev

I have the 700 Membrane bib-tights and they are great - very robust and warm. I hit an ice patch over Christmas and hit the road hard - my leg was grazed but, miraculously, the bibs were intact. I also own bib-tights by Sportful and Rapha and I can safely say that the 700's are up with those in terms of quality. The only thing that might be a con is that the pad is a little wider.0

Well, went out this morning, and after 40 miles I was toasty, with warm feet, warm legs, no numb bum, and fingers that were toasty, right up until 2 miles from home the tips of my fingers started to feel a bit cold. The B'twin gear seems good value for money, and I would personally recommend the 700 series to others. The Internet said with wind chill it was -2 when I went out and 2 when I got back, happy days... Now just to get me back to where I was last yearKev
